Audience: Public

Do you want to launch a new start-up venture? Got a "killer idea" that you've been toying with over the last few months, and want to see whether you have what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur? Then drop by Launchpad's Product/Market Fit Assessment Lab at the d.school! Every Tuesday from 2:30-4pm (from October 31 to June 5th 2018, aside from holidays), Launchpad's professors will be in the Bay Studio (second floor) to welcome Stanford students and the public.

That's right, you don't have to be a Stanford student and you don't need an appointment! It's a drop-in opportunity for potential founders to quickly determine whether they have an idea worth pursuing further.

Launchpad is a well established d.school accelerator course that has launched dozens of new businesses, 50% still in operation today!

The professors of this class, Perry Klebahn and Jeremy Utley, host this lab in part to meet and assist prospective students but also to help founders navigate early obstacles and answer questions without the burden of a class, grades, or any greater commitment beyond a quick conversation.

Some noteworthy alums of the class include:

For engineers: Fellow BrewingStower

For CS: Focal SystemsDeepLookBoom Fantasy, Pulse News (Acquired by LinkedIn)

Business: ManCrates

Law: Ravel Law
