Prospective students and other interested folks, please join us for a guided tour! Tours last one hour and are hosted by d.school students and alums excited to share their experiences with you. Reserve a spot in the guided tour below. They fill us fast.
If the stars don’t align for you to visit during a scheduled tour, small groups of less than 10 people are welcome to visit us on their own, M-F 9am-5pm. Let us know you’re coming by emailing us at tours@dschool.stanford.edu.

Corporate tours and consulting work are not allowed in our building.

Tours are scheduled quarter-by-quarter. You can check back for new dates next quarter. We meet by the red d.school bus/car in the main lobby. There are no tours in March and we will continue in April.

Campus can be a tricky place for visitors. Our mailing address and map address are different. If you ever find yourself lost on campus, you can use this searchable campus map to help guide your way. Use any of the following search terms: Peterson Laboratory, Hasso Plattner Institute of Design, or d.school.
The visitor parking lot accepts credit cards and cash, but it does occasionally fill up. Find out where visitor parking is located. If you are not driving, you can get a free shuttle bus from the Palo Alto Caltrain station, the Marguerite P Line, which will drop you at the Oval, a short walk through the Old Quad to the d.school.
